Ferns

Ferns are flowerless plants that grow in humid environments with low to moderate light. They grow intricate fronds, or leaves, and reproduce by spores that fall from the underside of the leaf. Many species can also be found growing on trees as Epiphytes, or even along the surface of rocks as Lithophytes. This is a highly adaptable group of plants with endless varieties to work with. Ferns are a great choice for planting on backgrounds, or on the lower level of your terrarium, where the soil stays consistently moist. They can be sensitive to the high levels of TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) sometimes found in tap & well water. Use clean water and flush the soil in between fertilizing your plants.
